SLOW GRIND FEVER brings you another undergound (but upstairs) D.I.Y. / .B.Y.O. house party style affair above the picket fence shop in industrial Brunswick. Expect the same low lights and smokey atmosphere, but this time it's an '88-'03 hip hop and r&b dance, with DJs Mizhap, Stuckey and Richie1250 mixing up class of '88 NY fast rap, low slung Long Beach G-Funk, early 2000s r&b slow jams, and all things inbetween. From ATCQ to Zhane, if you will. As a centrepiece at midnight, we'll have THE PROTEENS' leader Libby Clique-Baitè putting together an MF DOOM tribute set full of DOOM classics mixed with DOOM-sampled cuts and no doubt a handful of DOOM covers from THE PRO-TEENS soon to be released MF DOOM covers LP MF TEEN: Your Concurrence In The Above Is Assumed on College Of Knowledge records.
