Slow Grind Fever, Melbourne's smokiest mid-century slow dance party, presents a great leap forward into the lurid world of the 1980s with the first edition of SLOW GRIND '80s: EROTIC SLOW JAMS 1977 - 1993. Our usual red lights will turn PURPLE as we pump up the smoke and grind slow and low to the sensual sounds of DJs Richie1250, Nature Girl, Big Rig and Shio Otani, and when the time is right TIME FOR DREAMS will appear and throb us into erotic oblivion with a live set of spacey 80s style slow grinders. NOTES:
- As with all of our parties at Russian House, this one is BYO BOOZE. There is no bar at this event. If you want to drink, bring enough booze to get you through the night. We'll have some plastic cups and a couple buckets of ice up the back of the room, the rest is up to you.
- Doors open and the party starts at 9pm. End time depends on if we get static from the neighbours and authorities, but most likely it'll be somewhere between 1am and 3am.
- There will be a smoke machine going all night and it will get very smokey. The smoke is non-toxic but if you ain't into smoke machines this might not be the party for you...
